(PEORIA, IL) Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at approximately 6:02 a.m. members of the Peoria Police Department’s Special Investigations Division (SID) and SWAT executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of E. Gift.
Once inside the residence, officers detained 29-year-old Christopher W. Crawford without incident.
During a search of the residence officers located and seized a large amount of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Crawford was transported to the Peoria Police Department for interviewing purposes and subsequently arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Crawford was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
