(PEORIA, IL) Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at approximately 12:36 a.m. Police responded to the 3400 block of Starr Court regarding a stabbing. An adult male victim and an adult female victim were at this location. The victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A crime scene was later located in the
1700 block of S. Kneer where the stabbing occurred.
During the course of the investigation, officers identified a suspect in this incident as 55-year-old Efral Keys Jr.
Keys was located in the 1700 block of Kneer and taken into custody without incident.
Keys was arrested for 2 counts of Aggravated Battery. He was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
