(PEORIA, IL) Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at approximately 7:52 p.m. Peoria Police responded to the intersection of E. Kansas and N. Wisconsin on a Shot Spotter alert of 4 rounds fired.
When police arrived, they located a male juvenile with an apparent gunshot wound. The teen was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID) and Patrol Unit responded to the scene and initiated an
investigation.
There is currently no suspect information. This incident is under investigation.
