PEORIA, IL (September 5, 2023) The City of Peoria Community Development Department is launching the fourth annual 100 Blocks in 100 Days initiative on Tuesday, September 5. The program continues through mid-December.
Over the next one hundred days, code enforcement staff will knock on doors in their assigned neighborhoods to meet community members, discuss neighborhood concerns, and share information on the city’s assistance programs.
“100 Blocks in 100 Days gives our community members an opportunity to meet their code inspectors and learn more about the role code enforcement plays in keeping our neighborhoods safe, healthy, and vibrant,” said Community Development Director Joe Dulin. “Meeting neighbors where they’re at connects our code enforcement staff to the communities we serve.”
Please contact the Development Center at 309-494-8600 or email us to speak directly to your code enforcement inspector. For more information on the 100 Blocks in 100 Days initiative, please email Ashley Elias.
