(PEORIA, IL) Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at approximately 8:00 a.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of W. Marquette on a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located an adult female with an apparent gunshot wound.
The
female was immediately transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Patrol Unit, Neighborhood Services Unit, (NSU), and Crime Scene Unit (CSU) responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
This incident is currently under investigation.
