(PEORIA, IL) Monday, December 11, 2023, at approximately 6:36 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Cooper on a report of a person shot.
When police arrived, they located an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital in serious but stable condition.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Patrol Unit, Crime Scene Unit (CSU), and a Peoria Police Department K9 responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
There is currently no suspect information. This incident is under investigation.
