(PEORIA, IL) Friday, March 1, 2024, at approximately 12:23 a.m. Peoria Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1800 block of N. University.
During the stop, officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle.
While searching the vehicle officers located a loaded handgun and cannabis. The driver identified as 38-year-old Antonio V. Walker was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, No FOID, and traffic-related charges.
Walker was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
