(PEORIA, IL) Friday, March 8, 2024, at approximately 4:23 p.m. members of the Peoria Police Department’s Special Investigations Division (SID) located two wanted subjects in the 200 block of N. MacArthur.
The wanted subjects, identified as an 18-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, were taken into custody without incident. Both were transported to the Peoria Police Department for interviewing purposes.
The
17-year-old male was subsequently arrested for an active warrant.
The 18-year-old male was arrested for various firearm charges related to incident (# 24-3439), and an active warrant. The 18-year-old male’s name will not be released due to the warrant and criminal offenses occurring while he was still a juvenile.
Both subjects were transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
