(PEORIA, IL) Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at approximately 3:09 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 8800 block of N. Knoxville on a call of a business robbery that just occurred.
When officers arrived, they made contact with the victims who told police the male suspect entered the business and made threatening statements to the employees. The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of currency and fled the scene on foot. The suspect was
not armed. No one was injured.
Officers with the assistance of a K9 conducted a search of the area for the suspect with negative results.
This incident is under investigation.
