(PEORIA, IL) Thursday, March 21, 2024, at approximately 3:34 a.m. Peoria Police located a stolen vehicle in the 1600 block of N. Bigelow. The vehicle was found to be occupied by three adult females. All three individuals were detained.
The driver, 39-year-old Tanijury V. Lawshea was subsequently arrested for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
The
passengers were identified as 32-year-old Kayla McMahan and 27-year-old Ashley M. Jones. McMahan was subsequently arrested for Criminal Trespass to a Motor Vehicle. Jones was subsequently arrested for Criminal Trespass to a Motor Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of
Drug Paraphernalia.
All three females were transported to the Peoria County Jail.
