(PEORIA, IL) Sunday, March 24, 2024, at approximately 1:43 a.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 3400 block of W. Fallen Oak on a report of a female not breathing.
When officers arrived, they located an adult female with apparent stab wounds and other trauma. The female victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The
identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Peoria County Coroner.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Crime Scene Unit (CSU), and Patrol Unit responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
This incident is under investigation.
