(PEORIA, IL) Sunday, January 15, 2023, at approximately 11:31 p.m. Peoria Police responded to the 2700 block of N. Knoxville on a report of a structure fire to a commercial building.
Within minutes, the Peoria Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire that was contained to one room. One firefighter sustained non-life-threatening injuries. No one was inside the building at the time of the fire. Fire investigators determined the preliminary cause of the fire was arson.
During the course of the investigation, member of the Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID) obtained video footage that identified a suspect vehicle.
Officers have been unsuccessful in their efforts to locate the suspect vehicle. The Peoria Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in locating the
pictured truck.
