Sunday, March 24, 2024, at approximately 10:32 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of N. Great Oak Road on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound.
The
victim told police he was shot by an unknown subject while walking from a residence at the above location.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers immediately conducted a search of the area for the suspect with negative results.
This incident is under investigation. There is currently no suspect information.
