(PEORIA, IL) Monday, March 25, 2024, at approximately 11:08 p.m. Peoria Police responded to a Shot Spotter alert of one round fired in the 3000 block of N. University.
When officers arrived, they did not locate any victims. Officers did make contact with an adult male identified as 24-year-old Sanad M. Abdulla Hussain. During a search of Abdulla Hussain, officers located a firearm with a loaded magazine.
Abdulla Hussain was subsequently arrested for Reckless Discharge of a Firearm.
He was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
