(PEORIA, IL) Sunday, June 2, 2024, at approximately 3:09 a.m. Peoria Police were conducting parking violations in the 500 block of Main Street.
While conducting enforcement officers observed an adult female identified as 32-year-old Naquesha M. Isadore approach a vehicle that was being cited.
Isadore ignored officers’ commands to remain on the scene, and instead entered the vehicle and drove away at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was stopped a short time later by police near Hamilton and Monroe.
During a search of the vehicle officers located a handgun inside. The weapon was reported stolen.
Isadore was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Firearm Ammunition without a Valid FOID Card, Possession of a Firearm without a Valid FOID Card, and Fleeing & Eluding.
She was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
