[ARCHIVED] GFL Recycling, Yard Waste, And Trash Collection To Begin At 5 am Due To The Heat

Heat Schedule

Due to the forecasted hot temperatures, the City of Peoria’s recycling, yard waste, and trash collections will begin one hour earlier starting on Tuesday, June 18.

GFL will start collections at 5 am on Tuesday, June 18, and it will affect all pickup routes for the rest of the week. Containers should be set out by 5 am to avoid a missed pickup.

To avoid missing a collection, recycling, yard waste, and trash containers should be set out by 5 am on your scheduled day. After pickup, move your containers from the curb or alley within 24 hours. Place them in your garage or alongside your house or garage. Please do not leave containers on the street or sidewalk.

More information on the collection schedule change can be found at peoriapicksup.com.
