GFL will not collect recycling, yard waste, or trash on Thursday, July 4, due to the holiday.
This affects all pick-up routes on Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5. Pick-up will be delayed by one day for the Thursday and Friday collections. This schedule should be followed for the remainder of the week:
- If your collection day is Thursday, July 4, pick-up will be delayed to Friday, July 5.
- If your collection day is Friday, July 5, pick-up will be delayed to Saturday, July 6.
Normal collection schedules will continue for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday routes. Regular collection schedules will resume the week of July 8.
To avoid missing a collection, recycling, trash, and yard waste containers must be set out by 6 am on your scheduled day. After pick-up, move your containers from the curb or alley within 24 hours. Containers should be placed in your garage or alongside your house or garage, and not left on the street or sidewalk.
