[ARCHIVED] City Staff Conducting Consolidated Plan Survey This Summer and Fall

The city of Peoria Community Development Department is using a survey to reach out to residents and community members for their input on the Consolidated Plan. The survey will end on September 20. 

The Consolidated Plan informs how the city will use its annual allocation of funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds must be spent to promote safe, affordable housing and community development in low-to-moderate income areas throughout the city. 

There are four ways to participate in the survey. The survey is available in English and Spanish. 

  • Public Hearing: Monday, August 5, 11 a.m. at the regular Housing Commission meeting in Room 420 at the Twin Towers, 456 Fulton Street, Peoria, IL 61602
  • Online: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JX66C8F 
  • In-Person:  City Hall, 419 Fulton Street, # 203, Peoria, IL (Monday- Friday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
  • Community Outreach Events: Please see the list below

Staff will be available at the following upcoming events to answer questions and distribute the Consolidated Plan survey:

Staff distributed surveys and spoke with community members at the YANI Collective Juneteenth Fest on Saturday, June 16, and at Freedom Fest on Saturday, June 22 at Trewyn Park.
