(PEORIA, IL) Sunday, July 7, 2024, at approximately 1:06 a.m. Peoria Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2200 block of W. Garden.
Officers approached the vehicle and made contact with an adult male and an adult female inside. The driver identified as 54-year-old Wallace L. Jordan was driving on a revoked driver’s license.
During the stop, police found probable cause to search the vehicle where officers located illegal drugs and currency inside.
Jordan was subsequently arrested for Driving on a Revoked License, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Jordan was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
The female subject was released.
