(PEORIA, IL) Saturday, January 28, 2023, at approximately 4:10 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of N. Institute Place in reference to several male juveniles breaking into a vehicle.
When officers arrived, the subjects fled the area on foot. Officers with the Bradley Police Department apprehended one of the juveniles in the 1200 block of Elmwood. A second juvenile was apprehended a short time later.
Officers conducted a search of the area for more of the suspects with negative results.
Both juveniles were subsequently arrested for Vehicle Burglary and Resisting Arrest.
They were later released into the custody of a guardian.
This incident is under investigation.
