(PEORIA, IL) Saturday, August 10, 2024, at approximately 2:09 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to Perry and Wayne regarding an earlier Aggravated Battery incident.
When officers arrived, they did not locate a victim.
While officers were at the above location, they were informed that an adult male was transported to a local hospital with a serious head injury.
Police conducted a search of the area where the assault occurred and located a crime scene.
The victim is listed in critical but stable condition.
There is currently no suspect information. This incident is under investigation.
