(PEORIA, IL) Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at approximately 8:29 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to Main and Sheridan on a report of a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian.
When officers arrived, they located the victim, an adult male with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene prior to police arriving.
This
incident is under investigation. There is currently no suspect information.
