(PEORIA, IL) Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at approximately 9:43 a.m. Peoria Police responded to the 800 block of Fayette on a report of a traffic accident involving a District 150 school bus.
The school bus contained several Charter Oak students. The driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured.
Approximately 16 students and two adults on board the bus sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
