Occupation: Leon Hendricks supervises operations for all daily, television newscasts on 25 News and HOI-ABC. His primary goal is to make sure the station broadcasts fair, unbiased and truthful information. He has also worked in communications at Caterpillar Inc.
Community Involvement: Mr. Hendricks has been involved with numerous community service projects, mainly through his fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. He serves on the boards of directors for Carver Community Center and Heart of Illinois United Way.
Education: Bachelor of science, broadcast news and journalism, Illinois State University
Three things he’s passionate about: Mentorship, voting, parenting

Career Influence or Inspiration: His father, Dr. Leon Hendricks, a long-time public school and university educator who inspired his quest for life-long learning by always asking, “What did you learn today?”
