Occupation: Jada Culberson is marketing and communications coordinator for Children’s Home Association of Illinois. Her job involves raising awareness about the Children’s Home and its programs through social media and marketing. She is also responsible for internal and external communications.
Community Involvement: She is a member of the Tri-County Urban League Young Professionals, Peoria Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals and an active member and volunteer at St. Paul Baptist Church.

Three things she’s passionate about: Her relationship with God, serving others and her community, especially Peoria’s community of Black, Indigenous People of Color
Three favorite hobbies: Painting, roller skating, taking care of her plants
Career influence or inspiration: “I had the opportunity of work under some great ladies, Kodi Smith and Judy Winkler, at OSF Healthcare. Their skills combining community relations with marketing inspired me to pursue a role in the field. After landing a job at a local non-profit, I became passionate about lending my own skills to organizations that focus on enriching the Peoria community through people-first approaches.”
