Occupation: Earnest McCall Jr. began his law enforcement career as a patrol officer and has risen to the rank of captain of administration and support services. He is responsible for administrative and support services of the police department, which includes recruitment and training units; the technical services division, including video cameras, drones and license-plate readers; the records unit and the information office.
Community Involvement: Capt. McCall is a member of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) and the Peoria alumni chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Inc. He has volunteered for fraternity projects with South Side Mission, Boy Scouts, and Big Brother/Big Sister, as well as programs to improve relationships between the community and the police department.
