Riverfront Events Team Coordinator

 

Occupation: Courtney Langhorn-Mason’s businesses celebrate the hometown area code. She is co-owner of ‘The 9,’ a lounge and restaurant, and owner of ‘Studio 309,’ a dance studio. She is also a coordinator for the Peoria Riverfront Events Team, which performs duties such as set-up, tear-down and booking vendors for events on the riverfront and other Peoria Park District sites.

 

Community Involvement: Ms. Langhorn-Mason is co-founder of the Royal Family Dance Team, a group organized to contribute to the social, mental and physical development of young dancers through competitive dance. Additionally, she “mentors youth, parties, and parties some more.”

 

Education: Graduate, Peoria High School

 

Three things she’s passionate about: “Personal growth, mindfulness, helping and uplifting others”

 

Three favorite hobbies: Community involvement, dancing, reading
