Beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, weather permitting, lane closures will go into effect on W. Moss Avenue from the intersection of N. MacArthur Highway to N. Garfield Avenue. The lane closures are necessary for water service work as part of the Moss Avenue – Sheridan Road to Western Avenue – Reconstruction Project.
Drivers should utilize all marked detour routes. Drivers should use caution in the area and be mindful of the closures. The use of alternative routes is advised.
Lane Closures
- The eastbound lane of W. Moss Avenue will be closed to all traffic from the intersection of N. MacArthur Highway to N. Garfield Avenue. Only westbound traffic will be permitted between N. Garfield Avenue and N. MacArthur Highway.
Access to N. Moss Avenue Terrace and the 900-1000 blocks of W. Moss Avenue will be maintained. Temporary delays should be expected in this area.
Detour Route
- W. Moss Avenue through traffic between N. MacArthur Highway and N. Sheridan Road should utilize N. Sheridan Road.
