Hotel - Motel License

License Required

All businesses operating a hotel or motel within the City of Peoria must obtain a Hotel-Motel License.

License Term

Hotel-Motel Licenses are valid for one (1) calendar year and expire on December 31 of each year. Licenses must be renewed annually. Fees are not prorated.

License Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following:

1. A completed Hotel-Motel License Application.

2. Payment of the $75.00 application fee.

3. For renewals, must be in good standing with the City of Peoria for all Hotel Room Rental Municipal Taxes.
