Qualifications to Register to Vote in Illinois:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be 18 years of age on or before the next general election
- Reside in the precinct for 30 days before the next election
- Provide two forms of identification, one showing the current name and address

Peoria County Election Commission
The Peoria County Election Commission conducts all elections within Peoria County and serves as the authority for voter registration. All registrars file new voter registrations with the Election Commission for processing.
Peoria City Hall
The City Clerk's Office registers voters, except during pre-election periods when registration is only available at the Election Commission. If you do not have all the required documents, please register at the Election Commission.
