CDBG Public Services

The City of Peoria receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding each year from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Part of this federal funding is made available for not-for-profits, 501(c)3 organizations, and government agencies that serve low-income residents within the City of Peoria.  This funding is called CDBG Public Services.

Subrecipient Information

The agencies who apply for and receive this funding are called subrecipients. Subrecipients are required to track how they spend their grant funding. Because CDBG Public Services money comes from the federal government, the City of Peoria has to closely watch how it is spent. Grants staff work with subrecipients to make sure the grant is spent on eligible items in a timely manner.

Quarterly Reporting

Subrecipients are required to submit quarterly reports online through the Neighborly Software Portal.

Budget Draws for Quarterly Reimbursements

Submitting quarterly reimbursements will be completed through the Neighborly Software Portal. A copy of the new process is available below.

Annual Monitoring

All programs receiving CDBG funding are monitored each year by the City of Peoria to make sure they have all the required documents and follow the correct procedures.
