Anyone wishing to appear that is not the property owner named on the violation must enter their appearance in a case to represent a client before the hearing officer. This includes, but is not limited to: attorneys, authorized agents, and property managers.
Property owners should appear on the date and time their case is scheduled, as indicated on their summons or order. Contact your inspector to determine when your next hearing is. Staying in contact with your inspector should be a priority. In most (but not all) cases, an appearance can be avoided if your inspector allows you more time to work on correcting violations.
