Artist Statement for Bennett Johnson
"My images are inevitably autobiographical. My move 20 years ago from Chicago to Peoria has been enlightening. Meeting a wide variety of artists here has been a pleasant surprise. Photography has been my creative outlet. I attempt to make the ordinary extraordinary. Sharing my images with visitors at my studio, in galleries and competitions has been gratifying. Some exclaim "Good Eye" and "Great color."
