The Public Arts Advisory Commission received a request from Mayor Ali in the summer of 2021 to assist in selecting artwork by Peorians for display in City Hall. In December 2021, the Public Arts Advisory Commission voted on a policy for the display of artwork in suite 207 of City Hall. The work of these artists will be on display in Suite 207 through January 2026. Qualified applicants must reside in or have a studio in Peoria. The artwork must be two-dimensional, framed, and have a hanging system. For a complete list of requirements, please see the link below.
Applications have closed for the 2026 exhibit. Artwork will be installed at the end of February. Applications will open for 2027 in December of 2026.
