CDBG Public Services Advisory Commission

Overview 

The purpose of the CDBG Public Services Advisory Commission (formerly the Advisory Commission on Human Resources) is to keep the citizens of Peoria informed of social service programs provided by the City of Peoria and social service agencies as well as provide officers and departments of the City expert advice and assistance in evaluating and coordinating social service programs. Each year, this commission receives funding applications from entities that desire to provide needed public services to the citizens of Peoria. Grant funds are provided by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant program.
