About Us

The purpose of the Mayor's Advisory Committee for Citizens with Disabilities is to represent and promote the interest of citizens with disabilities to the end that there shall be adequate public and private services for maintaining and improving the health and welfare of persons with disabilities; adequate dissemination of information concerning the interest, problems and affairs of persons with disabilities; adequate community and individual activities to stimulate and fulfill the interest of persons with disabilities; and to develop new ways to utilize the talents and resources of citizens with disabilities.
