The East Village Growth Cell Tax Increment Financing District (TIF) Housing Program helps property owners in the East Bluff neighborhood to make improvements to the outside of their homes. Homeowners and landlords can apply.
The EVGC TIF Housing Program is a 50/50 match grant program that gives between $1,000 to $15,000 of assistance to property owners of single-family homes.
Program Requirements
- Property must be within the boundary of the East Village Growth Cell TIF
- Must own the property
- Must have proof of homeowners insurance
- Cannot owe the City any money
- Must be current on property taxes
- Cannot have any code violations in yard or driveway
- Landlords who apply cannot owe any money or have any code violations at any of their properties within the City of Peoria
Eligible Projects
- New garages
- New gutters
- New porches, steps, or railings
- Driveway and walkway (private property) improvements
- Roof replacement
- New siding or painting
- New windows
- New fences
