Assistance Programs
The City of Peoria provides several grants to help community members fix their properties, stay in their homes for longer, and buy a home.

Alley and Porch Light Program
The Alley and Porch Light Program provides porch lights, alley lights, and side yard lighting at no-cost for homes in targeted areas around the City. This program is open to both homeowners and renters alike.

Neighborhood Associations
Neighborhood groups that register with the City of Peoria as an official neighborhood or homeowner’s association (HOA) get access to resources and a limited amount of funding from the City.

Neighborhood Mini-Grant Program
The Neighborhood Mini-Grant Program provides neighborhood and homeowner associations (HOAs) with grants to improve their neighborhoods. The maximum funding amount per project is $5,000.

Dumpster Program
Registered neighborhood associations can request two (2) dumpsters each year for neighborhood cleanup days from April through the first week of November on Saturdays from 8 AM - Noon.

National Night Out Against Crime
