Statement From the Office of the Chief of Police
In the interest of transparency, the Peoria Police Department is releasing the complete body-worn camera and video footage related to the incident that occurred on September 28, 2025. The videos being released show the sequence of events as they occurred.
Please note that while the footage itself is being released, certain limited portions have been redacted to protect personal privacy, sensitive information, and to preserve the integrity of the ongoing investigation. These redactions do not alter the context or substance of the events depicted.
