This painting is based on Southeastern Native American floral aesthetics and incorporates painted textures referencing beadwork and stitches.
Biography
Hattie Lee Mendoza has an MFA from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and a BA in graphic design from Tabor College, Hillsboro, KS.
