Creating a Neighborhood Association
Neighborhood groups that register with the City of Peoria as an official neighborhood association or homeowner’s association (HOA) get access to resources and a limited amount of funding.
New neighborhood groups must have:
- A name
- Unique boundaries that do not overlap with existing neighborhood associations or HOAs
- A president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer
- Regularly scheduled meetings (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Meet at a public location
