Mission and Vision Statement

The City of Peoria Information Technology Division encompasses the following functions:

  • Cybersecurity, networking, and storage infrastructure
  • Enterprise Application Solutions
  • Computer and telephone support
  • Geographic Information System (GIS)

The Information Systems Department provides citywide technology services, solutions, and support to all departments within the City. IS develops, implements, operates and maintains computer hardware, software, and GIS solutions to improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of all departments. IS also partners with regional municipalities and other governmental agencies to support the CAD/RMS system for Police, Fire, and Dispatch for the region.
